ClaimWise Wealth Solutions Ltd (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We take the confidentiality of client information seriously, particularly because much of it concerns health, housing and financial circumstances.

What we collect

We collect only what we need in order to provide the service you have asked for.

Enquiry details — your name, email address, optional phone number, the service you are enquiring about and the content of your message.
Client information — where you engage us, the information required for that engagement. Depending on the service this may include details of your housing situation, health, income, credit history or business.
Technical information — standard server logs generated when you visit the website, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested.

Special category data

Some of our services involve health information — PIP applications and medical cannabis guidance in particular. This is “special category” data under UK GDPR. We process it only with your explicit consent, only for the purpose of the service you have engaged us for, and we do not share it with anyone without your instruction.

Why we process it, and on what basis

To respond to enquiries — on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us.
To deliver services — on the basis of performance of our contract with you, and your explicit consent where health data is involved.
To meet legal obligations — for example, retaining records for accounting purposes.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. We share information only where it is necessary to deliver the service you have asked for — for example, submitting an application on your instruction, or passing your details to a licensed clinic where you have asked us to do so. We also use service providers such as our website host and email provider, who process data on our behalf under contract.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 12 months. Client records are retained for six years after the engagement ends, in line with standard UK business record-keeping expectations, and then securely deleted. You can ask us to delete your data sooner where we are not required to keep it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Have inaccurate data corrected
Have your data erased where we have no continuing basis to keep it
Restrict or object to how we process it
Receive your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than from a third party.

We measure how the site is used with Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused service that sets no cookies, does not track you across websites, and collects no personal data. It records aggregate counts — page views, referring site, country, and broad device type — and nothing that identifies you as an individual. Because no personal data is processed, no consent banner is required and there is nothing for you to opt out of.

If we ever adopt analytics that does set cookies or profile visitors, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before it runs.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is limited to those who need it to do their work. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and proportionate steps to protect the information you give us.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
